What this game does get more wrong than its predecessors however, is the characters and dialogue. Every story in the franchise thus far has been bad/forgettable and this game is no different in that regard. Other big problems include Mayhem 10's extremely build/weapon restrictive nature due to horrid balancing decisions, asinine limited time seasonal events, horrible optimization, and much more, which you can consistently find people **** about on reddit. Gearbox's idea of "harder" gameplay equals increased health and damage dealt, i.e mayhem mode. At least BL2 had a fantastic villain in Handsome Jack. Once you've gone through the mediocre main story, there's not a lot that will keep you entertained.
